My friend Joe Lanasa owns a place called the Fulton Street Collective.  It is home to 14 resident artists who have baby studios there.  It is a very cool space and I was grateful when Joe asked me if I would like to be a guest artist for their first “collective show” named “In These Times.”  The theme gave a voice to the artists so that they would articulate what it is to be an artist when we are facing such challenging times.

The show was on May 1st and it was a big success.  I had a series of three paintings displayed in the show.

They are planning to have another event on Halloween. If it happens and I am in, I’ll post.  Heck, it only took me four months to post this one!

My plan is to have an exhibit in March of 2010 – I will keep you posted!
